The Willmar NFL Flag Football League is an official YMCA league through the Kandiyohi County Area Family YMCA, providing a fun, structured, and competitive environment where youth athletes can learn the game of football while developing teamwork, confidence, and leadership skills. Our league focuses on teaching fundamentals, sportsmanship, and character, while creating an inclusive space for players of all skill levels. In addition to local league play hosted at the YMCA, athletes have the opportunity to compete in official NFL Flag regional tournaments, including events hosted by NFL organizations such as the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers. These tournaments provide a direct pathway to the NFL Flag Championships Presented by Toyota, giving our athletes the opportunity to compete on a national stage. Our mission is simple: develop athletes, build community, and create real opportunities that go beyond the field.
